High Pressure Bed
High-pressure tanning was developed in Germany but was not introduced to the U.S. market until the late 70's as an alternative to conventional sun beds.
By this time, conventional sunbeds had declined in popularity, because unless exposure was carefully controlled, the UVB radiation caused sunburn instead of a tan.
UVB radiation stimulates cells in the skin which produce,- melanin. However, when it is first' produced, melanin is pink, not brown. It takes a certain amount of UVA radiation to oxidize the melanin and turn it the dark brown color that creates a tan. High-pressure, with its UVA rays, has just enough UVB to stimulate the release of melanin producing the golden results you've been searching for.
Tan Ultrafast
With the Ultrabronz sunbed, you will see the color difference immediately! While conventional tanning beds require 10 to 15 visits to establish a base tan, the Ultrabronz system only requires 3 to 4 sessions. Maintaining your tan has never been easier. One to two visits per month will sustain that sun-kissed color. Think of all the valuable time you will be saving!
Skin Benefits
For the most part, the outer layer of skin exfoliates every 28 days. When exposed to UVB rays, our body is forced to exfoliate prematurely every 5-10 days. This is why conventional tanners must repeat the tanning process so often. As you know, the Ultrabronz system filters out the majority of UVB rays, so you are able to maintain a normal exfoliation process and keep your tan much longer! Ultrabronzing is replacing "just tanning" as a faster, better way to get a healthy glow.
Tanning Tips
The use of tanning lotion is very important and strongly recommended. Lotion can increase your tanning results up to 30%-40%. Keeping your skin moisturized during and after tanning is the key to obtaining incredible results!
Do not use outdoor tanning products in the Ultrabronz sunbed.
ALWAYS wear eye protection! The eyelid is a thin membrane and should always be protected from UV light. Several types of eye wear are now available on the market such as winkease, sun globes and original goggles.
If you are taking any medications, please check with your physician before you tan in any sunbed. Some drugs are photosensitive and should not be mixed with any type of UV light.
Your lips have no melanin and will never develop a tan. However, UV light from the sun or the sunbed can cause your lips to dry out. Always keep your lips moist with lip balm before tanning.
Medical standards recommend a waiting period of 48 hours between tanning sessions.
